Cirugía y Cirujanos is the official scientific publication of Academia Mexicana de Cirugía, it being the journal’s main funding source.

The Cirugía y Cirujanos journal firmly supports the open access initiative and does not charge authors for the review, processing, evaluation and publication of articles, and all published works are under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
